We are an Indian restaurant from India and are looking for an Independent Chef I to strengthen our kitchen team. Do you have a passion for cooking and do you enjoy a dynamic kitchen environment? Then you are a perfect fit for us! You will assist with preparing dishes and work closely with our kitchen team. What are your tasks:

  •  Selecting, preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)

  • -Performing intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and adjusting where necessary

  • Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene

  • Supervise the work of auxiliary staff and correct where necessary.

  • Keeping track of stock, ordering ingredients and checking deliveries

  • Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen appliances, and workstations

  • Reporting technical defects and resolving simple malfunctions

  • Provides input regarding the composition and modification of menus, maps, and methods.

As our chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of dishes and meal components. You will work under the guidance of our head chef or owner but can also independently manage the kitchen when needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow chefs and, if required, supervise kitchen assistants.
